SERVICES

Speech therapy and assessments are conducted via telehealth (i.e., Zoom, Google Meets, etc.) but can also be provided in a natural environment setting, such as home based or daycare for children ages 0-5 years old.

Consultation: Completed by gathering relevant information regarding the child, including any previous evaluations or assessments. Complimentary phone consultations are offered to caregivers to discuss questions and concerns regarding your child’s speech and language development.

Evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation includes a combination of standardized testing, parent/teacher interviews, and informal observations. The first step is the completion of an intake form, which helps in selecting the most appropriate testing materials and provides background information on the child in need of services. Then, the evaluation is conducted in a natural environment setting. An assessment report is completed and shared with caregivers within two weeks. The assessment report includes recommendations such as whether therapy is warranted, the frequency and length of treatment sessions, and proposed speech and language goals.

Therapy: Speech and language therapy is provided for children from birth to 18 years of age. Research-based programs and techniques are used to target your child’s individual goals.

  1. Individual: 60-minute therapy session.

  2. Social skills group: 60-minute therapy session for children who have challenges in the area of pragmatics and focuses on building social skills with peers (no more than 3 children per group).
